This year's Matchmaking Event (MME) was BIC's largest yet. We were delighted to host almost 380 participants and facilitate more than 1,500 1-to-1 meetings at the Brussels Airport Sheraton Hotel.

It was also great to see so many contributions from BIC members in the form of pitches, posters and rollups - all geared towards networking with other BIC members for the upcoming 2026 CBE JU call for proposals, or other business opportunities.

BIC members heard presentations from CBE JU on the upcoming call, from BIC Chairman Rob Beekers on the current state of play, from outgoing BIC Executive Director Dirk Carrez and from Philippe Mengal, who will take over from Dirk on 2 March.
