The CO2BioClean patented fermentation process uses industrial CO2 emissions to produce biodegradable and compostable polymers which can then be used in the production (for example) of bioplastics and textiles. CO2 is captured at source from industrial facilities and transformed through fermentation into fully biodegradable PolyHydroxyAlkanoates (PHA). By rapidly scaling up this technology, our aim is to contribute towards a carbon neutral planet while reducing the impact of non-biodegradable plastics on our environment.
