BIOWEG is a deep tech company developing a circular technology platform for bio-based solutions. Using fermentation, green chemistry and industrial process design, BIOWEG converts waste and industrial side streams into high value, functional bio-based ingredients for personal care, home care and agriculture as well as rare earth element recycling. By using existing industrial side streams in regional production, BIOWEG aims to strengthen local resilience and help manufacturers of end products reduce their dependence on microplastics and fossil-based polymers. The platform was built to meet specific customer requirements, with a focus on high performance and industrial scalability.
