REFARM (https://refarm.online/) is established in Syros Island of Cyclades and is an initiative of people in love with earth, technology, and autonomy. It has been introduced to unify and exploit prevailing technologies making farming autonomous, self-sufficient and sustainable. We introduced a software to assess, handle and manage self-guided farming needs through AI (Artificial Intelligence) and DSS (Decision Support System), integrating all relevant technologies and incorporating aspects of sustainability and resilience. The concept is to deliver autonomous sustainable farms of any size operated worldwide through emerging technologies such as EO (Earth Observation), IoT (Internet of Things), AI and BDA (Big Data Analytics). Beyond software development REFARM is engaged in exploiting latest technologies in Robotics and Nanomaterials in the Farming sector engaging 3 test sites in Greece as living laboratories to validate and upscale technologies in remote areas.
