MAASH is a mycoprotein producing company that supply a nutritious and health feed and food protein ingredient to its B2B partners.

According to the United Nations, the Earth's population is projected to reach 9.1 billion people by 2050, leading to a 70% increase in food demand. However, our current food production system is not sustainable, with agriculture and livestock production accounting for nearly 20% of global greenhouse gas emissions and 70-80% of arable land being used for livestock production. We need to adapt, and quickly.

Fermentation-enabled proteins have emerged as a promising solution, and we are proud to be at the forefront of this movement. To address these challenges, our company produces high-quality fungal proteins using our submerged fermentation process. Our LoCyliaTM protein offers a low-carbon alternative to traditional animal protein sources and is highly nutritious, providing all essential amino acids as well as a range of important vitamins and minerals. Basically, we feed low added value carbon source to our fungi and turn it into a high added value feed and food ingredient thanks to our fermentation process: LoCyliaTM.

We believe that fermentation-enabled proteins have a crucial role to play in meeting the growing demand for sustainable protein sources while reducing the environmental footprint of our food system. By promoting the adoption of these innovative and sustainable protein sources, we can create a better future for ourselves and for the planet.
