Lignin Industries AB was founded in 2018. Since 2020, all of its operations are placed in Knivsta, north of Stockholm. Lignin Industries are all about valorizing Lignin to replace fossil-based plastics. Combining Lignin and bio-oil, the company has multiple patents protecting the way it produces replacements for PP, PE, ABS and PA6. The product is highly processable under standard plastics industry conditions, provides solid property materials and is fully recyclable. With a cradle-to-gate LCA of -1,9 kg CO2 egv/kg, mixing with recycled materials makes it possible to produce net-zero solutions.
