Amiat S.p.A. (Turin Multiservice Environmental Hygiene Company) is the Iren Group company that manages soil hygiene, collection and disposal services in an integrated manner waste from the city of Turin. Amiat is a joint-stock company with mixed capital: 80% of the shares are held by the vehicle company Amiat V SpA (Iren Group); the remaining 20% is held by FCT Holding SpA (Financial City of Turin Holding s.p.a.) Amiat deals with waste collection in the City of Turin and menages various preliminary treatment plants of solid waste.
