Renewable Materials Conference
The Renewable Materials Conference (RMC) is an international meeting place for innovators, companies, brands, investors and policymakers. Organiser, the nova-Institute, expects 400–500 participants from around the world.
The theme of this year's edition is defossilisation through innovation. Defossilisation – the substitution of fossil carbon in chemicals and materials with bio-, CO₂- and recycling-based renewables – offers strategies to secure market access and guide investors and financial institutions towards portfolios with long-term profitability. The event provides a platform to explore these opportunities, address uncertainties and help companies build a future-proof, competitive position in the renewable economy.
Topics under this umbrella are:
-
Defossilisation of the chemical industry
-
Fossil-free plastics
-
Policy and framework, regenerative business models
Across five main sessions, topics range from defossilisation of the chemical industry to fine chemicals, fossil-free plastics, policy frameworks and biodegradation. The conference will feature around 85 presentations, 12 expert workshops, a two-floor tabletop exhibition, poster sessions and extensive networking opportunities.
