Tecnopackaging

Tecnopackaging is a technology-based company involved in the development of innovative plastic products and materials, mainly packages and nanocomposites, targeting companies in the agri-food, cosmetic, pharmaceutical and industrial sectors. Thanks to its know-how on advanced polymeric materials and their transformation processes, Tecnopackaging provides its customers with a comprehensive design of new products, from concept to prototype, validation and development of the first series. The core of the company is the development of new high-tech nanoadditivated and recyclable materials for demanding industrial applications (transport, construction, furniture…) as well as sustainable biobased products where biodegradability and compostability materials play a key role (mainly for packaging or agricultural applications) and with technological equipment for processing plastics including: extrusion-compounding, injection moulding, extrusion blow moulding, thermoforming, film-blowing and additive manufacturing.

In addition, Tecnopackaging develops all its activities keeping in mind an eco-innovative perspective, analysing in each case the different alternatives that would reduce the environmental impact of both their products and/or their processes, being a recognised member of the European ECOLINK+ 100 business club cluster. Moreover, Tecnopackaging is member of the agrifood Cluster Food+I (Food Cluster from the Ebro Valley), the main Food Production HUB in Spain, providing solutions related to innovative solutions and trends in the agricultural and food sectors.

The aim of Tecnopackaging with respects to the bioeconomy, is to increase the portfolio of materials and products and provide novel sustainable and circular solutions to our clients and stakeholders. We do not consider ourselves as a mere plastic product transformation company, as we get involved in the whole product conception and eco-design, taking part in technology innovations too and adapting with novel tooling and models the manufacturing involved. We seek to monitor the EoL applied to our products in order to ensure that good practices in terms of recyclability, biodegradanility and/or upcylability are adequately addressed (as conceived). Finally, we are aimed at twin and connect our value chain with digitalisation aspects, in order to be more productive, efficient, and open our knowledge and products to peer and industrial collaborations providing benefits for society.
