Students across Europe join BISC-E 2021
Students at bio-based economy faculties across Europe are currently busy finalising their business cases on an innovative technology, product, and/or solution that would demonstrate the bio-based potential to resolve challenges related to sustainability, environment and health for all.
In 15 countries, national competitions or selection procedures are underway to result in national winners by the summertime. The participating countries include first-time participants Croatia, Czech Republic, Estonia, Lithuania, Romania, Serbia, France, Germany, Ireland and Italy, joining countries already participating in this student challenge for the second or third time such as Belgium, Greece, Portugal, Spain and the Netherlands.
BIC adopted the European final in 2019 as part of its Education Programme and has mobilised BIC members and the States Representatives Group to expand the programme across Europe. The European final will take place in two rounds in conjunction with an international BIC event in October. The winners will receive a substantial package of prizes, including support and a full-year complementary BIC membership. Learn more about BISC-E at www.bisc-e.eu.
