EU AgRI 2040 Conference
About the event
Under the theme “Future-proofing EU agri-food through research and innovation”, the 4th EU AgRI 2040 Conference will bring together policymakers, researchers, industry and other stakeholders to discuss the future of R&I for competitive, resilient and sustainable agri-food systems.
Katariina Kemppainen, Chair of the BIC Board of Directors, will join a high-level panel discussion on how public-private and international R&I partnerships can accelerate innovation, strengthen competitiveness and support the transition towards more sustainable and resilient agri-food systems.
The conference is organised by the European Commission and will explore the implementation of the EU’s new Strategic Approach to Research and Innovation for agriculture, forestry, rural areas and food systems.
