About the event
The 11th Nordic Wood Biorefinery Conference (NWBC) is a renowned conference in the field of wood biorefinery and a given meeting point for industry, SMEs, universities, and research institutes to listen in on the latest research and innovations within in bio-based materials, bio-chemicals, and products from wood biorefineries.
NWBC is a biannual conference, hosted between RISE and VTT, the technical research centre of Finland. For the first time, the conference will be hosted in Örnsköldsvik in Northern Sweden, to highlight RISE’s new pilot hall, the heart of RISE’s Bioeconomy Arena, with testbeds for biorefinery development, ready to take on the most pressing and challenging research questions to accelerate the green transition.
The NWBC Call for abstracts and industrial case studies is open for submission until the 25th of March.
