VISION: Havsmag aims to contribute to the green transition by focusing on the untapped resources of the sea. We want to be recognized as a significant player in sustainable aquaculture and to lead the fight to make seaweed and other sustainable marine products accessible to everyone. MISSION: Havsmag aims to make seaweed and other sustainable marine products mainstream by INNOVATING new production methods and products, COLLABORATING with relevant partners, and SPREADING awareness about the sea's untapped resources. Kelp (Blæretang): Our main focus is on locally harvested wild kelp (blæretang) from Langeland and the surrounding islands. Our goal is to cultivate kelp on lines, thereby helping to oxygenate the sea, absorb nitrogen, and bind CO2. We are working on developing various products with kelp and creating demand for Danish seaweed as a food product. We develop products with seaweed from other partners who cultivate seaweed.
