Consorzio ltalbiotec is a public-private consortium focused on lndustrial Biotechnology and Bioeconomy. Italbiotec brings together 8 universities and 48 institutions and companies. Consorzio ltalbiotec is a partner of the European Federation of Biotechnology (EFB) and the Lombardy Green Chemistry Association (LGCA).

ltalbiotec develops projects as beneficiary for itself and for its affiliates, PMI and Research Centers. ltalbiotec main interests are industrial biotechnology, biocatalysis, waste management (food and non-food production), environmental biotechnology, blue biotechnology.
