Moussa NACIRI, 54 years old, is CEO of Oleon, the Oleochemical Division of the French agro-industrial Group Avril. Moussa holds an electrical engineering degree from the Technical University of Berlin, Germany and an MBA from the University of Berkeley, California.
He started his career in consulting, joining BCG in Dusseldorf and later the US firm Gunn Partners in Geneva. He moved to the chemical industry in 2000 as strategy director for a division of Rhodia in Paris (now Solvay) where he then held several business positions in plastics and coatings. Moussa moved to Avril in 2007 to develop the oleochemical branch of the group through organic growth as well as by the acquisition of Oleon. Headquartered near Ghent in Belgium, Oleon today employs 1000 people, runs 6 plants in various countries and operates a worldwide sales network.
