EFIB 2019 covers the future of materials, food and feed, industrial processes in three major tracks on conference day 1 of the conference. On conference day 2 further topics include the usage of novel feedstocks such as CO2 or waste as a resource for bio-based processes. The dynamic political landscape from Brexit in UK to the growing innovation power of China will be discussed as well in an own track on global bioeconomies. A plenary session on Day 2 will also discuss the challenge of establishing a sustainable financing environment and of integrating industrial biotechnology and bioeconomy companies in financial categories which try to map sustainable businesses.
