Roquette is the global leader of polyols (sorbitol, mannitol, maltitol and xylitol). In the latter it focuses on developing bio-based chemical building blocks such as succinic acid and isosorbide, as well as bio-based resins (Gaialene®) and polymers.

In June 2017 Roquette announced a significant investment of €40 million in its Vic-sur-Aisne facility in order to increase its pea processing capacity and respond to a fast-growing global demand for pea protein.
