Fertinagro is Spain’s number one fertilizer manufacturer and also has international subsidiaries in Algeria, Argentina, France, Italy, Mexico, Portugal, Senegal and the Ukraine.

Fertinagro’s development policy focuses on 4 main areas:

  • Offering a comprehensive catalogue of fertilizers capable of meeting farmers’ needs regardless of the type of farming and agronomic applications.
  • Guaranteeing the quality and traceability of Fertinagro’s products, all of which are manufactured in one of the 15 factories.
  • Investing in the research and development of new fertilizers and production processes that enable Fertinagro to provide farmers with innovative agronomic solutions at competitive prices.
  • Establishing with distributors and importers a partnership based on technical and commercial development objectives and the implementation of the necessary means. Fertinagro’s main objective is to provide daily support to its partners in the field so that innovative, effective, reliable and profitable solutions may be offered to farmers.

Fertinagro Nutrientes’ R&D strategy focuses on the development of new (bio-based) products and processes for minimizing the use of the economical resources applied to agriculture, putting a special emphasis on the development of the efficient fertilizers that increase the crop yields using renewable resources.
